Common Uses: Litsea is most often used for it's fresh, uplifting aroma. Its aroma is very similar to Lemon Verbena, however it's at a much lower price point and therefore often used as a replacement in blends for 'Nature's Prozac' (Lemon Verbena). Litsea has also been used traditionally for stomach upset and digestive issues. It is antimicrobial and antifungal and can be used around the house for cleaning surfaces and clearing the air. 
Emotional/Psychological Uses: Uplifting, happy and refreshing. Promotes feelings of ease and wellbeing. 
Cosmetic/Skin Uses: Can be used for oily skin types (skin test for sensitivity). 
Blends Well With: Citrus Oils, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang, Vanilla, Black Pepper
